WHAT
Join us for an incredible mission trip to Waco, May 15-17, 2022. We leave Monday at 1 PM from Faith Academy and return Wednesday by 6 PM to the school. Students will grow in their relationship with Christ by serving God and the homeless of Waco. All current Faith Academy junior high students are invited to join us on this three day trip. (Parents are also invited to attend). We will serve, worship and fellowship together. Stay at First United Methodist Church Waco, work in downtown Waco.
WHEN
May 15-17, 2022
COVID
Participants will be adhering to the Faith Academy Covid Protocols when in public or around non-Faith Academy persons: 1) mask wearing, 2) social distancing, 3) hand washing. We will be looking for service opportunities in which we will remain primarily with our group. We will provide a Covid pre-check 10 days before the trip to make sure all who are going are healthy and symptom free.
WHAT TO BRING
We will be staying at a local church in Waco. Bring the following: 1) Personal items: clothes for three days, swim suit (modest one pieces for girls), closed-toe shoes and flip flops, hat, sun screen, personal toiletries, towel, Bible, water bottle and a notebook. 2) Personal bedding: cot or air mattress, sleeping bag, and a pillow.
